Deep Thoughts. By Montauk
My momma told me I am now a real city dog. I have no idea what that means.
She takes me on walks to get coffee in the morning, the place where she gets coffee is next to a store that smells like laundry. There is a nice lady who works there who meets me in the morning and we sit outside together while my momma gets coffee inside. She pats my head for a few minutes and then goes back to work. I like to call her Esmeralda in my head.
Today I went on a walk to the park. Only my mom didn’t know we were going to the park so I had to drag her for a while. She overpowered me and brought me on a boring walk. Well it was boring until I found a fountain and decided to take a swim. It seemed like I wasn’t allowed to go for a swim because mom was trying to get me out but then some nice men offered to watch out for the Fountain Police and mom let me swim for a few more minutes.
If you want to know, I swim doggie paddle best, my backstroke needs some work.
