Hi this is Sterling and he is about 8 months old and should grow to be about 60-80lbs. Overall he is a very healthy dog and ready for placement in a forever home. Sterling has been successfully treated for localized demodectic mange which is one of the most commonly diagnosed, non-contagious, skin diseases found in puppies and young dogs. The most obvious symptom is small circular areas of hair loss. As you can see in these pictures he is well healed and should live a long and healthy life. It is possible this skin condition could return however there are a number of options available to treat it should that occur.

While any medical condition can be cause for pause we hope that you will see these dogs for the beautiful, sweet, playful and loving creatures that they are. Just the comfort of a home to call their own and a constant care provider in their lives will reduce their stress which helps tremendously in the healing process. My name is Woody and I am a cute lab/retriever mix about 50-60lbs. - Perfect size for snuggling! I am sweet and playful and quick to brighten your day with a smile.  I am well mannered and intelligent which makes me an excellent addition to any family.  I am grateful to the the kind people who have opened their home to me but I am really looking for a forever home to call my own.  I am loving, good with other dogs and gentle with children.  Don’t pass me by I am a real gem just waiting to be discovered!
